Some Random Yugioh Cards

Spell Cards

Spell Cards are very important cards in your deck. Spell Cards should be 1/4 of your deck (Example: A basic 40 card deck, 20 cards should be Monster Cards, 10 should be Trap Cards, and 10 should be Spell Cards), and should work around the deck you are using. Although many Spell Cards are deck specific, there are a few cards that work well with many different types of decks. In this hub, I will name seven (+1 because of the new Forbidden List in 2014) Spell Cards that you can include in almost all your decks.

Spell Shattering Arrow On Amazon

Monster Reborn

Type: Normal Spell Card

Status: Forbidden (Advanced Format) / Limited (Traditional Format)

Official Card Description: Target 1 monster in either player's Graveyard; Special Summon it.

My Description: This is such an awesome card, and it's one of my favorites. Basically you can choose any monster you want from your OR your opponent's Graveyard, and bring it on to the field. Perfect for when you or your opponent just lost a high ATK monster. As of 2014, Monster Reborn is now Forbidden to use in Advanced Format Duels, but remains limited in in Traditional Format.

Dark Hole

Type: Normal Spell Card

Status: Limited

Official Card Description: Destroy all monsters on the field.

My Description: This card used to be forbidden, but recently became limited. It destroy all your opponent's monsters and all your monsters as well, so be careful.

Hammer Shot

Type: Normal Spell Card

Status: Unlimited

Official Card Description: Destroy 1 face-up Attack Position monster with the highest ATK. (If it is a tie, you get to choose.)

My Description: Basically, this card destroys the monster on the field with the highest ATK points. If your monster has the highest ATK on the field, it is destroyed. So watch out when you use this card.

Some Yugioh Cards In Protective Sleeves (Exodia Cards In Middle)

Magical Mallet

Type: Normal Spell Card

Status: Unlimited

Official Card Description: Shuffle any number of cards from your hand into the Deck, then draw that same number of cards.

My Description: So you can put some or all the cards in your hand back into the deck, shuffle the deck, then draw the amount of cards you just put back in your deck. Simple enough.

Different Types Of Yugioh Cards

Mausoleum of the Emperor

Type: Field Spell Card

Status: Unlimited

Official Card Description: Both players can Normal Summon or Set monsters without Tributing, by paying 1000 Life Points x the number of monsters needed for the Tribute Summon.

My Description: This card is a bit interesting. It lets you or your opponent Tribute monsters without send Tributes to the Graveyard. So if you are summoning Blue Eyes onto the field while this card is in play, you can pay 2000 Life Points instead of sending two of your monsters to the Graveyard. Your opponent can do it to as well. If you combine this Field Spell Card with cards that recover your Life Points, you can bring out a ton of tough monsters out without Tributing at all!

Monster Reincarnation

Type: Normal Spell Card

Status: Unlimited

Official Card Description: Discard 1 card, then target 1 monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand.

My Description: I used to confuse this card with Monster Reborn. You get rid of 1 card in your hand, and get 1 monster from the Graveyard back into your hand to bring out again.

Fissure

Type: Normal Spell Card

Status: Unlimited

Official Card Description: Destroy the 1 face-up monster your opponent controls that has the lowest ATK (If it's a tie, you get to choose.)

My Description: This is the opposite of Hammer Shot. Instead of destroying the highest ATK monster, you destroy the lowest ATK monster. And, it only destroys your opponent's monsters. So if your opponent only controls 1 high ATK monster, it is destroyed automatically.

Spell Shattering Arrow

Type: Quick Play Spell

Status: Unlimited

Official Card Description: Destroy all face-up Spell Cards your opponent controls, and if you do, inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each.

My Description: Since Monster Reborn can no longer be used in most duels, I thought it would be appropriate to add another spell to use in its place. Spell Shattering Arrow not only destroys and face-up Spell cards your opponent has on the field, but for each one destroyed, your opponent loses 500 Life Points. This includes an opponent's Field Spell card. This card is also useful against Crystal Beast Decks, since Crystal Beast monsters are considered Continuous Spell Cards when in the Spell & Trap Zone.

Spell shattering arrow, it devastates pendulums. There is nothing more broken in the game now than pendulums. I refuse to play pendulum decks; if you build one your that jerk everyone hates. I have less respect for people who build pendulum decks than for Exodia decks.

How about twin twisters?

Although I'm a big Yu-Gi-Oh fan, I don't keep up with forbidden lists, so I'm not sure if these cards are still legal. But we have the field magic, Clocktower Prison, which makes you immune to battle damage after four of your turns, and the spell Lightning Vortex, which requires you to discard one card (which can sometimes be a good thing) in exchange for destroying all face-up monsters your opponent controls.

Sam Little from Wheelwright KY on December 02, 2014:

I would have also went with MST on this list. It is effective to rid your duel of that pesky back row.

Zeron87 on October 05, 2014:

I like where you were going with this. People underestimate the power of Monster Reincarnation, especially in Lightsworn builds. And Spell-Shattering Arrow will kill Pendulums, and I wouldn't be surprised if they limit it eventually like when they limited Royal Decree.

TheSauceBoss9000 on September 16, 2014:

What about the new 2014 cards, the Pendulum Monsters? These cards can be very annoying, as they are both Monster and Spell cards- in one! They also have another OP ability... I'm afraid I cannot tell you that, though. You will have to find out for yourself! :D

There is some small and not well known magic card that are very strong, I think about card trader, which is a continuous spell card that allow you during your draw phase to send one card from your and to your deck and then draw another card (useful for some assault mode deck or else).

I've also discovered one small but powerful named card advance, which allow you in a first time to see and arrange your 5 top deck cards, and in a second time allow you to perform a double summon, just like the double summon spell card.

There more than 1000 spell card in ygo, and I'm pretty sure that there some pearl that we've never heard about.
